Posted to: valentinemahjong.com/ChromeHeartMahjong.php - Rick I Love This Game. The colors, designs, pattern are great. Would like if there was soft music while playing. Not necessary though. Love the game. Thank You

Posted to: valentinemahjong.com/ChromeHeartMahjong.php - Hi, Happy to say that I have played this game out several times now. If you fixed it great. Thank you.

Posted to: valentinemahjong.com/ChromeHeartMahjong.php - Well Rick after asking you to fix the game so I could play one out I just finally played one out. It is hard to do so. I see other people are having the same problem. Love the game though.

Reply from Rick: Save up your shuffles, you should be able to do it more often :-)

Posted to: valentinemahjong.com/ChromeHeartMahjong.php - I think it is way too difficult. Half of the board is blacked out. The first game was very slow going not knowing what tiles were suppose to match each other. You should give players more than 2 hints also. People are just going to give up and not play anymore if it's too confusing and no fun to play. I did like the graphics a lot. You did a good job with those. Thanks for the game.

Reply from Rick: The tiles that are darkened can not be played according to the rules of Mahjongg. You can earn more hints by playing the game to it's conclusion.

    Hope that helps,
    Rick

Posted to: valentinemahjong.com/ChromeHeartMahjong.php - only thing wrong is it's too small, make the screen larger please.

Reply from Rick: Try playing it in Full Screen mode.

    Hope that helps,

Posted to: valentinemahjong.com/ChromeHeartMahjong.php - Wish you were so kind as to show us that the game is about to be lost. I hate the abrupt announcement of my failure...

Posted to: valentinemahjong.com/ChromeHeartMahjong.php - May I suggest allowing an undo at the end of the game. I know for a lot of people this will be a "cheat" but when there are a few matches left and I choose the wrong one I am curious to see where a different one would have a lead. If we had the option to undo the last move we could see. Love all your games though. Thanks!

Reply from Rick: That's been suggested to me by a few people. I think it's a good idea, and I'd like to include it in future versions.

    Thanks for the suggestions, :-)

Posted to: valentinemahjong.com/ChromeHeartMahjong.php - Rick I cannot win the "Heart Layout" without shuffling, which is why I play the "Standard Layout" at the bottom of the page. I have given up on the "Heart Layout" because it is my personal preference not to have to shuffle. Thanks for a great game! Paula

Reply from Rick: I don't think I've ever won the Heart layout without shuffling either to be honest. I have had several people claim to have beaten it without shuffling, so I believe it is possible.

Thanks for letting me know, :-)

Posted to: valentinemahjong.com/ChromeHeartMahjong.php - I have won several times using the heart, however, I don't understand what happens to my points? I'll have them for a game and then poof gone! I don't use the hint as I'm always down to one match. Any help?

Reply from Rick: The coins are actually stored in a cookie. I do that so that I don't have to require a log in. The down side is if you clear your browser cookies, or start using a new browser, or if you use some AV software that occasionally deletes all the cookies, your points are lost.

I'm sorry if that is what happened. At some point I'd like to add a log in, so that player can keep their scores even if the cookies get deleted. Unfortunately right now I don't have one.

Thanks for letting me know... sorry that wasn't much help :-/

Posted to: valentinemahjong.com/ChromeHeartMahjong.php - I suggest to those who cannot win the heart layout to use the standard layout which can be won often without shuffling. I've tried to win the heart layout to no avail, but I choose to not use the shuffle button. I really enjoy your games, Rick. Thank you for the effort you put into making them, and keep up the good work! Paula

Reply from Rick: Thanks Paula :-)

Sounds like you've gotten pretty good at this! I can't win the Heart without shuffling ;-)

    Reply from Rick: Thanks, :-)

Posted to: valentinemahjong.com/ChromeHeartMahjong.php - You are just like Microsoft with Windows 8. This suggestion box is pointless since you change nothing. goodby

Reply from Rick: I do change things... but unlike Microsoft, I'm only one guy, and I run about 100 websites. It takes time to change them because I actually have to go out and change the games. Sometimes it takes weeks, more frequently months. Sometimes, I don't get to changing or fixing good suggestions at all.

I can't speak for Microsoft, but I assure you that I put a lot of effort into my games, but I'm just one man and I can't always fix, or change things as fast as my users would like.

I apologize that you don't feel listened to.

    Sincerely,
    Rick

Posted to: valentinemahjong.com/ChromeHeartMahjong.php - Please consider a version that even us ordinary mortals can win once and a while.

Reply from Rick: You can win... try using the shuffle button. The strategy is to watch the 'Matches Left' at the top of the screen. When it gets down to 1, hit the shuffle button at the bottom in the center. Try not to use the 'Hint' button before that because then you won't be able to use the 'Shuffle' button if you didn't start the game off with more than 2 game coins.

I need to add a screen that gives you the option of shuffling if you run out of Matches, rather than just ending the game, but right now you have to watch the matches.

    You can do it :-)
    Thanks for playing,
    Rick

Posted to: valentinemahjong.com/ChromeHeartMahjong.php - I usually lose even with chances to shuffle the pieces, it would be better if I had not thrown more no more chace still have to shuffle, I can shuffle the pieces. I really like the game, despite never having won.

Reply from Rick: I'm responding to this suggestion which was originally in Portuguese. The translation was done with Google Translate

I need to change the game so that it gives the user the chance to shuffle if they have enough coins to do so when they run out of possible matches. Hopefully I'll get to that soon.

    Thanks for the suggestion, :-)
