Posted to: - It's too easy! Much better when you have to figure out what pictures are left instead of getting the choices.

    Reply from Rick: Hi Tina,

There's a "No Hints" version that doesn't give you the hint box when you click on the cells.

    Hope that helps,

Posted to: - Oops! This is Sudoku and not Mahjong! My face is red.

Reply from Rick: No problem. So to play Sudoku you try to get all 9 numbers in each block, row, and column. If you click a blank cell it should give you the possible numbers that can be placed in that cell based on the numbers that are already in that row, column or square.

    Hope that helps, :-)

Posted to: - Rules for games would be appreciated. I tried the Christmas mahjong and I have no idea how to play this game - it's not like your other mahjong games which I have enjoyed.

Reply from Rick: Christmas Mahjong is a simple matching game. The tiles that aren't dimmed can be clicked and if you click two in a row with matching faces they get removed from the game. Remove all the tiles from the game to win.

    Hope that helps,

Posted to: - Don't make it so easy for someone to play, if you click on the open squares you can tell which one would go there... It's tooo easy.

Posted to: - The game is has nice pictures and colors. Laid out nice. All these Sudoku games like this are hard to win. They don't pan out. There should be more than 1 solution.

Posted to: - Don't allow puzzles with two solutions or more.

  • Colin - 2013-08-06 06:16:33

Posted to: - I have noticed, after completing four solutions (difficult level included), there are always at least two alternatives at the end. There should only be ONE solution for each puzzle. I am not much of a Sudoku "expert," but more than one solution seems not right to me. Except for the "quirk" I discovered, the functionality and your layout are great.

    Reply from Rick: Hi Colin,

I've been aware of that problem for a while now, and I just haven't been able to fix it. I've made several attempts, but nothing has worked for me yet. I'm going to try again sometime soon.

Thanks for the heads up, :-)

Posted to: - may supply a selfdefine sudoku

Reply from Rick: That would be fun. I don't have anything like that right now.

    Thanks for the suggestion, :-)

Posted to: - Would like an answer key, so that while I'm learning, and when I make a mistake I can correct and go on.

Posted to: - Why do these have multiple solutions??

Reply from Rick: They just do. It's a bug in my algorithm that I've been working on for a while now. At the end you can usually just pick a way to go. As long as you come up with a valid solution, you win the game.

    Thanks for the suggestion, :-)

Posted to: - Hi there, any chance for developing binary sudoku?

Reply from Rick: Maybe some day, but at the moment I can't figure out how to play Binary Sudoku.

    Thanks for the suggestion, :-)

Posted to: - Making different difficulty levels? and update the theme to try and keep people entertained, like how about instead of numbers you try shapes or something?

Reply from Rick: I have some themes, but they're on different websites (, etc). Also if you scroll below the game, there are a few different difficulties.

    Hope that helps, :-)

Posted to: - Game seems boring, there is no excitement with the board or the numbers. It's just bland & needs to be spruced up a bit. Add some gadgets.

Reply from Rick: LOL, that's Sudoku. If you wan't something with more exciting images, try Candy Sudoku.

    Hope that helps, :-)

Posted to: - I hate when I click a space it's almost like peeking what the answer is. Sometimes I'm unsure and I want to learn from my mistakes. Your version just allowed me to mindlessly run through a game in 3 minutes.

Reply from Rick: Try the 'No Hints' version. There's a link below and to the left of the game.

    Hope that helps, :-)

Posted to: - At the end of the would be nice to see how to solve the finale..when you know you made a mistake. Show what numbers are incorrect.

  • Lukas - 2013-07-18 09:35:56

Posted to: - You should't be able to put a number in the full container.

Reply from Rick: I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. Can you elaborate a little?

    Thanks for your help, :-)

Posted to: - Hey, fantastic game - I'm an avid sudoku lover and having it a single click away is fantastic.

I'm not sure about your rational for including the number pad that restricts the number entry that'd be incorrect - isn't the whole idea to challenge your mind by thinking up these possibilities yourself? Just wondering...

    Nice game altogether though. Cheers!

    Reply from Rick: Hi Edwin,

I personally like it because it allows for quick play. You can play the 'No Hints' version, which lets you take notes, but you can't use the bubble for entry.

Anyway, thanks for the suggestion and the kind words :-)

Posted to: - Hi Rick - I reported a glitch on 6-11-2013 regarding sporadically unresponsive squares in the top left set.Digging into it further I discovered it was only the top 3 squares that would not allow input. After reading some of the QA's, I tried the game in full screen mode and that corrected the issue. It still occurs in the Window mode, but full screen works just fine. Thanks!

    Reply from Rick: Hi Jim,

I wonder if it has something to do with the Facebook hooks I put in. I'll try to see if I can fix the problem by tweaking those.

Thanks for letting me know, :-)
